Why I like it: Each year the Wynns wine making team choose one [occasionally two] vineyard that stands out so strongly that it needs to be released as a single vineyard wine. from the superb 2021 vintage it was the Glengyle vineyard- first planted in 1969. it is situated almost  in the middle of the famous cigar shaped Coonawarra region. Stunning cabernet and one that although looks great now, will age gracefully for at least 15 years.
