George has always loved drinks, especially wine.  He has spent his career working with amazing people in the wine and hospitality industry. He owned and operated an award-winning Canberra restaurant, was the wine writer for the Canberra Times and became the Global Wine Ambassador for Australia’s largest wine company, Treasury Wine Estates.  He has tasted literally thousands of wines, hosted hundreds of events and taught many about wine along the way.

In 2020, he joined SEN sports radio Breakfast with Garry Lyon and Tim Watson for a regular chat about wine.

Not surprisingly, George received lots of questions. From how to keep wine cool when camping, to who makes the best cabernet and his wine recommendation of the week.
