Wynns Coonawarra

Wynns is one of Australia’s oldest and most iconic wineries. Located in the famous Coonawarra wine region, just across the Victorian state border, in South Australia’s southeast. Wynns has been producing award-winning wines from vines grown on the regions famed ‘terra rossa’ soil for more than 100 years.
Built in 1888 by John Riddoch, Wynn’s historic ‘gabled’ winery is a must visit when in the region, with the knowledgeable cellar door team offering tastings of Wynns iconic wines daily.

The picturesque Yarra Valley is home to Coldstream Hills, founded by James Halliday – wine writer, wine maker and all-round wine icon. With sweeping views of the Yarra Valley, headlined by the impossibly steep amphitheatre Pinot Noir vineyard, Coldstream Hills is a showcase of the quality of wines produced from the region.
James Halliday chose this site as he aspired to make the best Pinot Noir and Chardonnay in Australia. Thirty years on, awards and sold-out vintages indicate he made the right decision.
Open 5 days, Thursday through Tuesday, the Coldstream Hills cellar door offers one of the best views the Yarra Valley has to offer from its famous deck, accompanied by amazing wines.

Saltram
Barossa Valley, South Australia
No history of the Australian wine industry is complete without the mention of Saltram. Established in 1859 by William Salter, this famed Barossa winery has been the nursery to some of Australia’s greatest winemakers for generations, such as Peter Lehmann and Nigel Dolan.

Wolf Blass

With German heritage, Champagne production experience and a life well-lived in Europe, Wolfgang Otto Franz Blass arrived in Australia in 1961 to make wine and turbo-charge the emerging Australian wine industry.
