Why I like it: The Seppelt brothers came to Australia [from Germany] in the 1860's and settled in the Barossa Valley. When the gold rush erupted in Victoria, they followed the 1'000's of people that flocked to the gold fields searching for gold. Eventually the brothers established a winery in Great Western and sparkling wine followed. This is a classic aperitif style and lovely to drink.
