Why I like it: The first Bin wines were made in the late 1950's and this Grenache is the most recent wine to be 'elevated' to Bin status. Unlike most other Penfolds red wines, this wine spends some time in French oak [and some American] and the mouth-watering juiciness of this wine is well supported with lovely tannins. A ripping wine to drink soon.
