Why I like it: Like the Platinum shiraz, this wine is sourced from the Medlands vineyard in the Barossa Valley. Given its cooler nature [next to the river], this vineyard is perfectly placed for growing premium cabernet. Vintage ticked the box as a ripper and this wine has benefitted from that.
