Why I like it: Pepperjack winemaker, Richard Mattner, loves a good steak. He always wanted to make a Malbec for this reason and he decided to venture to the famous Argentinian region of Mendoza to source it. Picked from higher altitude vineyards, its full of ripe blackberry, dark plum and dark chocolate flavours. Give it a try.
