Why I like it: Wolf Blass Black label was first made from the 1973 vintage. It won the coveted Jimmy Watson Trophy in 1974 and since then, every vintage of this wine has won at least one Gold Medal. The 2021 vintage was a beauty and according to Wolf Blass Chief winemaker of 35 years, Chris Hatcher, this wine will go down in years to come as one of the best Black label's. Drinks super well now- but will also cellar easily for 20 years.
