Barossa’s first vineyards were planted 1840's. They aren’t always our best vineyards and often they need the vibrancy, enthusiasm, brightness and charm of our newer plantings. It is very special though when one sees a new vineyard deliver on its own. Will Ashcroft is our new vineyard. Brilliant on his own...but even better when blended with those that have been around a little longer.

Saltram No.1 Shiraz was first made in1962 and still today is considered one of the Barossa Valley's leading wines. This 2018 vintage was awarded four trophies at the 2021 Barossa Wine show...including Champion Wine of Show. Like the Brisbane Lions, a real winner!
